How to Care for Your Tile & Grout
Mopping is good for cleaning most types of tile but it can push dirt deep into porous grout. Floor manufacturers recommend that you have tile and grout professionally cleaned once a year to remove dirt that gets trapped in your grout. If you have pets or a lot of foot traffic, you may need to have your tile cleaned more than once a year.
Wizard Carpet Care uses specially formulated cleaning agents to pre-treat your grout and tile to loosen ground-in dirt. We then clean the floor using steam extraction. Our state-of-the-art truck mounted system power washes the floor to extract soil and grease from the pores of the tile and grout and any other hard surface floors.
The system generates water pressure at over 1,000 pounds per square inch at a temperature of 250°F to soften and extract years of soil and contaminants. The water and dirt is then vacuumed away to a containment tank on our truck. After we clean your tile and grout we can also apply a grout sealant to help protect your grout from future dirt and stains.
